This fun-filled week is designed for girls ages 5–9 and combines everything they love — princesses, superheroes, crafts, fashion, and tea parties — with the life-changing skills of self-confidence, verbal defense, and physical self-protection.
What Makes This Camp So Powerful?
In this unique summer camp, your child will:
- Learn how to be a “self-rescuing princess” with real-life verbal and physical self-defense skills
- Participate in daily themed activities that blend beauty, strength, and safety

Power Princess Camp isn’t just about fun — it’s about giving young girls the tools to:

Camp is led by Tracie Arlington of PlayItSafe Defense, a nationally recognized expert in child safety and empowerment training — ensuring that your child learns in a nurturing, age-appropriate way.
What Can You Expect at Play It Safe Camps
Every parent worries about their child facing bullying, abduction… or even worse. In 2003, Tracie Arlington—a mother and Taekwondo black belt—recognized the need for self-defense training specifically designed for women and children who weren’t involved in martial arts. PlayitSafe's engaging, age-appropriate, single-session class helps build confidence and sharpen awareness skills to prevent dangerous situations. They teach practical self-defense strategies to help kids navigate challenges like bullying, peer conflicts, stranger danger, inappropriate touching by someone they know, and abduction attempts. With their signature “Go Chihuahua Crazy!”™ approach, they've empowered hundreds of thousands of individuals, witnessing firsthand the life-changing impact of our unique teaching method.
