SwiftKick Martial Arts is hosting a free back-to-school event in Carlsbad designed to help local kids start the school year strong. Students will get hands-on experience with martial arts and age-appropriate safety skills, including boxing, kicking, anti-bullying strategies, and stranger danger awareness.

It’s a fun way for kids to get moving while learning skills they can carry with them into the classroom, playground, sports, and everyday life.

This event is about bringing our community together. In addition to martial arts and self-defense activities, families can connect with Carlsbad community partners, including PlayItSafe Self Defense, and discover helpful resources for parents and kids.

Students can enjoy games, snacks, and a raffle while parents learn more about programs and resources available to local families.

At SwiftKick Martial Arts, we believe martial arts for kids should go beyond learning how to punch and kick. Our goal is to help children develop confidence, focus, discipline, situational awareness, and the skills to respond to bullying and uncomfortable situations.

Whether your child has experience with martial arts or has never stepped onto a mat before, they’re welcome to join us.
