14 Sep SwiftKick Martial Arts: Yoga Classes
SwiftKick may be known more for its mixed martial arts training, self-defense classes, and Ninja Camps for kids, but this gym founded by Brian Cowell also helps you improve your physical and mental well-being through the ancient practice of Yoga. At the Rancho Bernardo studio, SwiftKick Champion member Elisa leads classes that improve focus, as well as flexibility and strength. Elisa’s combines breathing, postures, and the wisdom of Yoga in a class that relaxes and energizes all, from experienced Yoga practitioners to beginners. Yoga’s focus on holistic wellness combines physical exercise with a relaxing mental approach that helps to reduce stress, as well as tone the bodies of those who practice.
Since she began practicing yoga in 2001, Elisa has become a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher (200HR RYT). This teacher of Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, and Gentle Yoga, aims to help her students develop both strength and balance. By doing this, they will benefit in all areas of their lives. Elisa brings to the Yoga studio her expertise as both a certified personal trainer and as a sports massage therapist. In fact, she is the owner of a studio in Escondido for both yoga and massage. Whether working with adults or children, Elisa loves sharing her knowledge of yoga – from stretches to help them stay in shape and enjoy a greater quality of life, to self-massage methods using foam rollers to help them relax and ease pain – with people from all walks of life.
Elisa is not only a highly qualified, certified Yoga instructor, she also brings to the studio her expertise as a Cycle Instructor, Les Mills Body Pump instructor, and a First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. To earn any one of these qualifications requires a great deal of physical and mental commitment. Elisa brings her combined knowledge and expertise in all of them to provide students at the Rancho Bernardo SwiftKick studio with an excellent experience.
